.96 released

We released version .96 on 12/10/2009. In addition to the changes below several performance enhancements have been made to make the software even more stable.

Resolved bugs:

  • Bug #18: Screenshot button produces a broken image
  • Bug #60: The server will not accept remote connections upon restarting after a crash
  • Bug #128: Audio works in live viewing but not during search / playback
  • Bug #138: Streaming server using excessive amounts of CPU
  • Bug #140: Using the pattern tracking section of the PTZ area causes the server to crash
  • Bug #141: Server will not accept connections after a crash
  • Bug #142: All available storage paths are not shown correctly in space manager
  • Bug #150: Server crashing when adjusting contrast
  • Bug #174: No kernel driver for 2.6.28-17

Features added:

  • Feature #139: Change default mp4 -> avi conversion path
  • Feature #158: Allow manual changing of custom device path for serial ports (Controlling PTZ cameras)
  • Feature #178: Give permission for ‘dvr’ to ‘cdrom’ group
  • Feature #175: Change default brightness

In 2009 Bluecherry released it's Bluecherry DVR software targeted at commercial users who needed a powerful, but user friendly interface.
