This equals the power and flexibility of DVR systems costing $3500.00 or more. The easy setup function can have the system up and running in just minutes. The Search and Playback functions are better than on most integrated DVR solutions that we have seen. Looking forward to installing many more of these systems.

Arrived at customs in just two days for 1/4 way round the world, superb. Export documentation all correct and well done. Well made cardboard box with custom foam packing to suit the product.
Good quality product, well made, correctly labelled, identifiers on ports, good accompanying correct english only documentation. Accurate and prompt response to installation queries on forums.
Missing audio adapter bracket. Responded to query immediately, and sent replacement.
Thoroughly recommended.

Converted two Geovision systems with their Linux based DVR cards and was surprised by how well it worked. They also have knowledgeable support.

This is a great card. We’ve built DVR’s with smaller cards that didn’t have enough processing power to keep up with ‘reasonable’ frame rates on all their ports, this card simply Rocks. Yet another great purchase from our new best friends at Bluecherry. Thanks Kurt!

I have tried three other DVR brands and products and software. I wanted a Linux solution and not a Windows platform. I use this product for my house and yard. It is very stable.

Even with high quality recording set, I can record easily 5 to 7 months worth of video with 10 cameras on the system. The DVR card accepts any standard video camera / video input. You can use an old camcorder or buy any video camera with the standard analog video output.

The web page camera view works well over DSL / Cable modem Internet links. The video streaming on a DSL line with 500k bytes upstream – out going speed does very well in streaming the camera views in the web page view. Very nice when at work or away on vacation to keep tabs on the place.

The remote client for windows works well to view and configure the DVR system from a remote connection. The database search and replay of videos is also easy to configure and work.

The customer and product support by Bluecherry has been excellent. I have at times made a few oopses and had to have customer support assist me in fixing some of my mistakes. You can set up your DVR server and Internet router / firewall to allow Bluecherry support to remote into the system to fix any issues.

I am maybe using about 50% of the capability of this DVR system currently with 10 cameras on it, and at this time, I have not found any flaws or issues in the product. I have been using the product since June 2009.

It offers exactly what I was looking for in a DVR system, that is, be web based camera view, run on Linux, have hardware compression, and have audio recording as well and record in a standard video / audio format.

I purchased the 16 port card and followed the instructions to load and configure the hardware and software. I built my own computer to put the DVR card into.

Using this product in several businesses now, and have been very pleased with it. Bluecherry Tech support has always been more than helpful for me this makes all the difference.

Cannot wait for version 2 as oddly most of my clients are using MACs
