New support platform for ideas, problems and questions

In the past two years we’ve used several methods of providing public end-user support and idea tracking.  Initially we used Invision Power Board.  We then switched to UserVoice (which is a really great application for idea tracking) and used Zendesk forums for support, however Zendesk was confusing for some customers to use.

We then poked GetSatisfaction and while their platform was nice eye-candy and had a easy to use UI; stuff that we “wanted and needed” was in the “expensive to omg-expensive” plans.

Last week we migrated all data from UserVoice and GetSatisfaction to one platform, community.bluecherrydvr.com.  Domains ideas.bluecherrydvr.com, support.bluecherrydvr.com and forums.bluecherrydvr.com all now redirect to this site.

There are still a couple bugs that we are working out with this platform, but it is nice to (finally) have everything together under one domain and one page.

Anyway, test drive the community page today!
